Mark has been the Compliance Manager at Appleby since May 2008.Located in Cayman, he is responsible for compliance in the Cayman, BVI and Hong Kong offices of Appleby..

A former Detective Inspector in Cayman’s Financial Crime Unit, Mark worked as a police officer in London and the Cayman islands for seventeen years specializing in money laundering and major fraud cases. He is also a former member of the Financial Reporting Authority (Cayfin).

Prior to joining Appleby he worked in compliance for three years with Ogier in Cayman. He is a professional member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) and the International Compliance Association (ICA).

QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-Graduate Certificate in Fraud Management from Liverpool John Moore's University. Diploma in Compliance from the International Compliance Association. Certified Anti-Money laundering Specialist (ACAMS).
