The Policy subcommittee is responsible for dealing with the regulatory bodies and government agencies to help ensure that the interests of CICA and its membership are well represented during crucial consultation and decision making processes surrounding pertinent legal and regulatory developments. Individuals from the CICA executive committee are actively involved in the Guidance Notes Committee, and meet regularly with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and other relevant professional bodies.
The Training subcommittee is responsible for providing effective cost efficient and practical training for the membership. This primarily invovles managing the desk top training facility that CICA have produced called Too Hot To Handle and managing presentations or conferences in association with the Public Relations subcommittee.
The Public Relations subcommittee is responsible for managing the presentations or conferences that CICA puts on and for maintaining the relationships with other industry associations and relevant professional bodies.
