CICA will be holding a breakfast session from 7:45 am to 10:00 am at the Brasserie Conference Facilities which will comprise of members of CIMA and local industry groups (from Banking, Company Management, Insurance, Investments and Professional Services) who will explore the impact of a risk-based approach on conducting client identification and monitoring client transactions and activities. The panel members will discuss what issues arise in conducting client due diligence and in implementing monitoring policies and procedures in a flexible risk based scenario specific to their industry group. They will also explain some of the steps their organization is taking or is proposing to take to mitigate the risks and/or address the issues that may arise as a result. Following the presentations and questions from the panel chairperson, attendees will then be invited to ask questions of the panel.
